How to manage storage and free space on iPhone

Connect your device

Connect your device to Install iTools on your PC, after successful iTools installation, connect the iOS device to the PC using the appropriate USB cable.

Wait for iTools to automatically detect your iOS device. If you haven't connected any devices to your PC or if your device is not recognized by Windows, the message "Connected but not recognized?" The message will appear on the interface.

What are the reasons that the device is unrecognized?

After logging in to iTools, select Device > Files > Common Folders > Storage.

Now you can back up or move your device storage files to your computer.

View & Edit your storage

You can see the change in the file's name, size, and archive date here. At the same time, you can also choose different display modes from here.

Select any file and right-click on it. Then select Export, Copy Path, Delete, Rename, and Properties to continue your work.

Export: The same function as Export at the top of the list, export your file to PC.

Copy the path: you can copy the path easily, and you will get the message "The path has been copied to your clipboard".

Delete: If you select the Delete option, the system will ask for confirmation twice. Click Yes or No to continue.

Rename: select the Rename option to rename the file you selected, modify, name it and confirm the changes.

Import

Click the import button at the top of the list, you can choose to import by file or import by folder. You can import any file format, the system will notify you when the space is full.

Export

There are two ways to export in iTools. One is selected at the top of the list. The second is to right-click on the file you want to export. Choose the save path on your PC and export.

Refresh

Press the refresh button to refresh your file information to the latest.

Delete

You can select a file and click the delete button at the top of the list, or just right-click the file you need to delete and confirm your delete action in the confirmation request.

Create a new folder

Create a new folder by selecting the button at the top of the list. After creating a folder, you can rename it with whatever name you want. Open the folder and you can now import, export, refresh, delete or create a new folder. Click the back button and you can go back to the previous folder.

Search

To find your files quickly and safely, you can use the search function at the top right. Enter the keywords and you can easily locate your file.
